Fratelli Alessandria is a historic winery in Verduno, the northernmost municipality in the Barolo area.
We are talking about one of the most historic wineries in the entire Barolo Langa, which has been making wine history since 1830. Looking at more recent history, Fratelli Alessandria has always stood out for wines of absolute elegance and cleanliness, always putting the raw material and fruit first, without ever falling into a trivial and crowd-pleasing style, with concentrations or aging that alter the soul of the Nebbiolo grape. Fratelli Alessandria is tradition and a bond with its land!

The winery is located in the municipality of Verduno, and almost all of its owned vineyards (and they are all owned) are located in this municipality, with the exception of MGA Gramolere, located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. Fratelli Alessandria's wines fully express the terroir of Verduno, enhancing its olfactory finesse and gustatory pleasantness, with tannins that are never overwhelming and wines that are truly enjoyable even when young.
Of course, Fratelli Alessandria is one of the producers of Verduno Pelaverga, an indigenous grape variety from this municipality.
Pelaverga Piccolo is a red grape variety cultivated mainly in the municipality of Verduno and in a small part of the municipality of La Morra, whose DOC appellation was established in 2011; once vinified, it presents a particularly light ruby red color, and its aromas immediately lead us to a spicy note, particularly pepper, accompanied by floral scents of rose and geranium.

The soul of the winery is Vittore Alessandria, a dynamic jack-of-all-trades (occasionally a tennis player) who from a young age believed in the potential of this terroir and today produces wines of extreme elegance, cleanliness, and precision.
