I had opened my blog with the best intentions. Riding the wave of enthusiasm for the new wine shop opening, I thought, "I'll be able to do it all: wine shop, online store, and why not, even the blog!"
Well, it didn't quite work out that way. Whether it was orders, warehouse management, or customers at the wine shop, I never managed to keep this part of the site updated, which is actually what makes me feel more real, closer to you who are reading this article. Could this be the right time, working from home and not having to deal with customers, couriers, and everything that revolves around a commercial establishment, for me to talk a bit about myself, my experiences in wineries, the world of wine, and who knows what else?
I've visited a few wineries lately, I've had a lot of dinners and tastings, I've grown as a person and in experience in the wine world. I've met very knowledgeable friends who have shared ideas and advice. And now here I am, in #lockdown like all of you.
I like to be optimistic, I'm not afraid. But may this situation make us reflect on how beautiful normality is, how wonderful dinners with friends are, how great it is to drive through the Langhe in spring, with a damn refreshing breeze that keeps your head on your shoulders better than Costanzo.
My promise for 2020 is to keep this blog alive by publishing articles more frequently.
I've left my Facebook and Instagram contacts here on the side. You'll also find the link to the Telegram channel for FLASH offers. I'm waiting for you!
