The 2025 Rosato is made from Sangiovese and brings a piece of this territory into the glass: hills, woods, vineyards, and the lively lightness that Sean O'Callaghan seeks in his wines, without ever losing the connection to the land.

It is the most immediate and luminous face of the winery: a direct, agile rosé, designed to express Sangiovese in a more delicate and carefree form. Natural fermentation occurs slowly in steel at a low temperature before bottling in winter; the result is a wine that remains deeply linked to Radda, but with a simple, fresh, and everyday drinkability.

The Winery: Tenuta di Carleone

Tenuta di Carleone was founded in Radda in Chianti in 2012, from the meeting between the Egger family and Sean O'Callaghan, known in the wine world as "Il Guercio" (The One-Eyed Man). The estate is located in Castiglioni, in an area of Chianti Classico characterized by woods, olive groves, small plots, and Sangiovese vineyards. The work follows organic and biodynamic principles, with an artisanal vision that seeks vibrant, profound, and never heavy wines. Carleone is only a young winery on paper: inside every bottle lies Sean's extensive experience, the elevated and fresh character of Radda, and an idea of Tuscany that is less constructed, freer, and more essential.
