Burlotto's 2019 Barolo Castelletto is made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the sub-zone of the same name in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba.
Burlotto's Barolo Castelletto originates in Monforte d'Alba, from one of the most highly regarded crus for the elegance and structure of its wines. The Nebbiolo grapes come from vineyards located on steep slopes, characterized by calcareous soils rich in sand, which impart finesse and good freshness to the wine. The winemaking follows traditional methods, with long macerations and a 30-month aging period in large oak barrels, to create a Barolo that expresses the territory in all its complexity and depth.
