Flavio Roddolo produces this Barolo in his vineyard in Ravera, Monforte d'Alba.
Flavio's Barolo is a lively and vibrant wine, the result of sensitive winemaking and a very long aging period in the cellar. Its great complexity is supported by freshness and significant yet elegant tannins. It is a full-bodied, austere wine with a vast olfactory panorama that captivates even the most demanding palates.

The Winery: Flavio Roddolo
Flavio is an institution in the Langhe wine scene. The winery is located in Sant'Anna, halfway between the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Roddino. The vineyards are all around the winery, divided into one part that falls within the Barolo appellation in Ravera, and the others, across the road, that are outside it: the ridge leads towards Dogliani, the same hill that then flows into Valdibà. Flavio's wines are undoubtedly distinctive, characteristic of a specific area, a specific hand, a sensibility, and patience in oenological terms. Wines that need to be waited for, both before opening the bottle and once poured into the glass. The cultivated grape varieties are the three main ones of the Langhe: Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo, and an outsider, Cabernet Sauvignon, from which the famous Bricco Appiani is born.
