    Alberto Oggero's Roero Bianco 2023 is produced in Santo Stefano Roero with Arneis grapes.

    From the younger vineyards planted in Santo Stefano Roero, Alberto Oggero produces this Roero Bianco: an Arneis that speaks of the territory. The grapes are vinified separately: one part is pressed whole cluster, while another undergoes a 3-day maceration; the same goes for the aging, divided between steel and untoasted oak barrels.

    Alberto Oggero was born and raised in Roero, in Santo Stefano Roero to be exact, in that courtyard and in that house which has also been his winery since 2009. He is not a salesman, he is not one to pretend to be something he is not; Alberto is exactly that boy who, since childhood, has experienced the territory, and by helping his grandfather, he learned all those teachings that today allow him to make wine as it once was, but with current knowledge. He respects the rhythm of the vineyard, he respects the times dictated by the winery, he respects Roero, the territory that saw him born and grow as a person and as a winemaker. Precisely for this reason, Alberto cultivates and vinifies only the native grapes of Roero, Nebbiolo and Arneis, and he does so by respecting both the vine and the plant, with an organic approach to viticulture, and by vinifying in an artisanal way, without resorting to filtration or clarification or selected yeasts. All vinifications are natural, with spontaneous fermentations and aging aimed at enhancing the fruit and the terroir.
