Renato Fenocchio's Vino Rosso is produced from Ruchè grapes.
The idea for this wine originated from Renato and Milva's search for a product that would enrich the winery's offerings with a lighter, more summery wine. After considering other regional varieties, such as Freisa and Pelaverga, the choice fell on Ruchè, which expresses itself very differently in Barbaresco compared to the Castagnole area or Monferrato. The vineyard was planted in 2014, and since it is cultivated outside the designated zone, the wine cannot be classified as DOC or DOCG.

The Winery: Renato Fenocchio
Renato and Milva Fenocchio live in Neive, where they have managed the family business since 1993. The total vineyard area is approximately 11 hectares, all farmed organically in the municipalities of Neive, Barbaresco, and Treiso. Renato is first and foremost a farmer, and he considers a sustainable approach in vineyard management to be extremely important, frequently implementing new cultivation techniques and prevention methods against fungi or vine pests. The winemaking processes are always aimed at expressing the grape variety to its fullest: the grapes are stressed as little as possible, and enological techniques are never invasive. Renato and Milva are true wine artisans, driven by an incredible passion for the land and its fruits.
