It is the only label produced by the winery, which has always strongly believed in enhancing this grape variety. The wine is simple yet juicy, and having personally tasted older vintages, I can guarantee that despite its everyday nature, it can perfectly be forgotten in the cellar for a few years.

The Winery: Collestefano

The Collestefano winery is an established winery located in the Marche region, Italy. Founded in 1998 by Fabio Marchionni, passionate about viticulture and eager to start a business in the wine sector, he decided to purchase land in the Matelica area, in the Marche region. This region, located in the Marche hinterland, is known for the production of Verdicchio, an indigenous grape variety that produces wines of great character and complexity. Fabio Marchionni is committed to cultivating the vineyards according to organic and sustainable methods, avoiding the use of pesticides and synthetic chemicals. Collestefano's Verdicchio vines grow on steep slopes and clayey soils, which contribute to giving the wine a unique expression of the territory. Collestefano seeks to express the maximum potential of the Verdicchio grape. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts, preserving the authenticity of the terroir's characteristics.
