Sauvignon 2021

Miani's Sauvignon "Zitelle" is produced in Friuli from Sauvignon grapes.

This is one of the greatest Italian wines. The Miani winery is a piece of history of Friuli Venezia Giulia's winemaking culture, and Enzo Pontoni is the winemaker of this beautiful establishment located in Buttrio, in the province of Udine. Enzo is a person deeply connected to his land, very reserved, almost shy, much like his wines that need time to express their full potential. Sauvignon Zitelle comes from vineyards located between the municipalities of Buttrio and Abbazia, whose grapes are left to ferment in oak barrels, and the wine is then aged in barriques. Zitelle is a Sauvignon of great personality, fruity and savory.
