Artuke's 2022 Rioja “Pies Negros” is a Rioja DOCa made from grapes grown in Rioja Alavesa between Baños de Ebro and Ábalos, with steel vinification and wood aging.
The grapes come from vineyards located in Rioja Alavesa, specifically in the municipalities of Baños de Ebro and Ábalos. The plots are distributed over calcareous-clay soils with the presence of sand, in an environment characterized by varying altitudes and good ventilation.
Work in the vineyard focuses on managing the plots and yields, with differentiated harvests based on ripeness. In the cellar, a linear approach is maintained, with limited interventions and attention to fermentation management.
