The Winery: Renaud Boyer
Renaud Boyer is a wine producer based in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, one of Burgundy's key territories. He works approximately 3 hectares of the family property, in the vineyards that his uncle Thierry Guyot cultivated biodynamically since 1986. Renaud defines himself as a proponent of natural viticulture and winemaking, without the use of sulfites. The main plots are located in Saint-Romain and Puligny-Montrachet, and all harvests are carried out exclusively by hand. In the cellar, the utmost respect is given to the grapes, which are almost always vinified whole cluster and without added sulfur dioxide.
