Flavio Roddolo's Nebbiolo d'Alba is produced in Monforte d'Alba in the Bricco Appiani area.
Flavio Roddolo's Nebbiolo d'Alba is a wine of absolute grandeur and power. The vineyards are located in Monforte d'Alba, in the Sant'Anna area, and after spontaneous fermentation in steel, the wine remains in exhausted barriques for several years. It is a full-bodied wine that identifies both the Monforte d'Alba terroir and the hand of the winemaker.

The Winery: Flavio Roddolo
Flavio is an institution in the Langhe wine scene. The winery is located in Sant'Anna, halfway between the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Roddino. The vineyards are all around the winery, divided between an area that falls under the Barolo appellation in Ravera, and the others, across the road, which are outside of it: the ridge leads towards Dogliani, the same hill that then flows into Valdibà. Flavio's wines are undoubtedly distinctive, reflecting both the region and his touch, his sensitivity, and his patience in winemaking terms. These are wines that require waiting, both before uncorking the bottle and once poured into the glass. The cultivated grape varieties are the three main ones of Langa: Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo, and an outsider, Cabernet Sauvignon, from which the celebrated Bricco Appiani is made.
