Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi 2020

Le Piane's Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi is a red wine produced in Alto Piemonte, in the Boca area, from Nebbiolo grapes.

In the renowned Boca DOC area, Le Piane produces this Nebbiolo under the Colline Novaresi denomination. Vinification is exclusively in steel to accentuate the distinctive characteristics of this noble grape variety, which, thanks to the gravelly, volcanic porphyry soils on which it is grown, is characterized by a particular savory vein.

The Winery: Le Piane

Christoph Kuenzli and enologist and friend Alexander Trolf visited the Boca region multiple times in the early years, enthralled by its incredible beauty. After meeting Antonio Cerri, they decided to continue what this historic producer had started, purchasing from him what is now the core of Le Piane, and then adding small vineyards in the best positions of the Boca DOC. Today, the winery boasts 9 hectares of vineyards and, after Alexander's tragic death, is entirely managed by Christoph Kuenzli and his team of 5 people, who oversee all production processes, from the vineyard to the cellar.
