Navaherreros Red 2022

Bodegas Bernabeleva's Navaherreros Tinto 2021 is a red wine made from Garnacha grapes.

We are at the beginning of the Sierra de Gredos, a few kilometers southwest of Madrid. Let's start with the label: the bear. Bernabeleva literally means "bear's road," as to reach the winery you cross woods where old granite sculptures depicting bears can be found. At an altitude of 730 meters, Bodegas Bernabeleva produces wines of great elegance and freshness, and it is precisely this altitude that allows it in a region often characterized by great heat. This Garnacha is an explosion of fruit and spices, with an agile sip and a smooth tannin.
