Bodegas Bernabeleva's Navaherreros Blanco is a white wine made from Albillo and Macabeu grapes.
We are at the beginning of the Sierra de Gredos, a few kilometers southwest of Madrid. Let's start with the label: the bear. Bernabeleva literally means bear's road, as to reach the winery you pass through woods where you can find old granite sculptures depicting bears. At 830 meters above sea level, Bodegas Bernabeleva produces wines of great elegance and freshness, and it is precisely the altitude that allows this in a territory often marked by intense heat. This white wine reflects the minerality of the soil and a sip with beautiful acidity.
