    Marco Buvoli's Metodo Classico Tre is produced at the Opificio del Pinot Nero winery using only and exclusively this grape variety.

    We are located in the pre-alpine hillside north of the cities of Vicenza and Padua. Here, Marco Buvoli, primarily driven by his love for Champagne and Pinot Noir, decided to pay homage to this grape variety. The winery adopts an artisanal approach to all production phases, creating sparkling wine bases of great freshness and personality. In the case of "Tre", the wine rests on its lees for 36 months before disgorgement. A sparkling wine characterized by freshness, minerality, and verticality.

    Marco describes himself as an artisan, working with small numbers and limited series. Pinot Noir vinified in red and, above all, Metodo Classico sparkling wine. A difficult challenge: Pinot Noir, in addition to being one of the most demanding varieties to cultivate in the vineyard, is also a grape that does not forgive inexperience in the cellar, leading to the production of a mediocre and trivial product. Marco's reference point is clearly France, meaning Champagne and Burgundy. Starting from the garage behind his house for his first vinification, he has now reached the wine lists of the best Italian restaurants.

    "One evening in the winter of 1997, as I sat in front of the fireplace, sipping – savoring every drop – an old Champagne blanc de noirs purchased in France during one of my many wine pilgrimages, I decided to honor that wonderful grape called Pinot Noir, and that I too wanted to create important and complex bubbles, which would not stop at the mouth but would first reach the brain, and from there, straight to the heart.

    And it was from that evening that I decided to dedicate a part of my house in the Vicenza hills to a winery, so that I could work on wines that would find their place in the collections of enthusiasts. Of course, red vinification could not be missing, which led me to seek my own interpretation, respectful of our terroir and my personality, year after year, vintage after vintage" Marco Buvoli​
