Gian Luca Colombo's 2022 Langhe Pinot Nero, a label released under the winery name Segni di Langa, is produced in Roddi from grapes harvested in the municipalities of La Morra, Roddi, and Dogliani.
It is now well-known that Langa producers have also ventured into Pinot Noir production, and Gian Luca was certainly one of the first to take on this challenge, seeking to create a union between the identity of the Langhe soil and the surrounding microclimate. The search for cooler exposures ensures that Gian Luca's Pinot Noir is never "heavy," but rather that its acidity and drinkability shine through in a clean Pinot Noir that enhances its fruit and carries with it the identity of the Langhe.
