Langhe Nebbiolo 2023

Pira E. & Figli Chiara Boschis' 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo is produced in the municipality of Barolo.

The grapes are harvested from a vineyard dedicated solely to Nebbiolo, the King grape of the Langhe, cultivated organically. Chiara crafts a characteristic wine with surprising elegance, where the wood, though perceptible on both the nose and palate, adds softness and roundness to the sip, never being overly intrusive.

The Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis winery was one of the most innovative and revolutionary wineries of the 20th century. Chiara, always an advocate for sustainable agriculture and the first woman of organic Barolo, vinifies grapes in Barolo, largely sourced from vineyards near the winery and others from the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. In every wine by Chiara, her energetic and strong personality shines through, where innovation and tradition meet with the aim of elevating the name of Nebbiolo and the entire Barolo appellation. The vineyards and wines are certified organic, undoubtedly reflecting their terroir of origin.
