Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo by Pira E. & Figli Chiara Boschis is produced in the municipality of Barolo.

The grapes are harvested from a vineyard dedicated solely to Nebbiolo, the King grape variety of the Langhe, cultivated organically. Chiara makes a characteristic wine with surprising elegance, where the wood, though perceptible both on the nose and in the mouth, brings softness and roundness to the sip, never being too intrusive.

The Winery: Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis

The Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis winery was one of the most innovative and revolutionary wineries of the 1900s. Chiara, always a proponent of sustainable agriculture and the first woman of organic Barolo, vinifies grapes in Barolo, mostly from vineyards near the winery and others from the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. Each of Chiara's wines reflects her energetic and strong personality, where innovation and tradition meet with the aim of elevating the name of Nebbiolo and the entire Barolo denomination. The vineyards and wines are organically certified and undoubtedly reflect their terroir of origin.
