Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

Olek Bondonio's Langhe Nebbiolo is a fresh and vibrant expression of the Starderi terroir in Neive.

Olek personally oversees all stages of production at his winery, from the meticulous harvesting and selection of grapes to the vinification at his Cascina La Berchialla. Fermentations are always spontaneous, and throughout the vinification process, a non-invasive approach is sought.

The Nebbiolo comes from the younger vines of the Starderi cru, in the northernmost part of the municipality of Neive. Selection is done directly in the vineyard, and grapes from older vines are chosen for the production of Barbaresco Starderi. The Langhe Nebbiolo opens in the glass with a clear direction: that of pleasantness. Although young, the tannin is delicate and never too astringent, while the acidity contributes to a beautiful drinkability.
