The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo from Castrum Roche is produced by Isacco Costamagna in the hamlet of Torriglione, in the municipality of La Morra.
The Castrum Roche winery was formally established in 2021, and this Nebbiolo is in its second vintage, with approximately 8000 bottles produced. Thanks to the two hectares of vineyards inherited from his grandparents, Isacco cultivates his Nebbiolo vines in one of the most beautiful amphitheatres in the Langhe: the Torriglione terrace overlooking the fantastic Rocche dell'Annunziata. Vinification takes place in steel tanks without the use of selected yeasts; aiming for a Langhe Nebbiolo that is drinkable, fruity, and elegantly refined, the wine rests in steel for a few months before being released onto the market.
