Anas-Cetta is Elvio Cogno's Langhe Nascetta produced in the municipality of Novello.
In 1994, the Elvio Cogno winery brought an ancient abandoned grape variety back to life: Nascetta, or Nas-cetta, in Piedmontese. Speaking for the appellation and tradition, Elvio Cogno and other producers considered Novello the most suitable municipality and historically linked to this grape variety. The bunches are harvested in the Novello vineyard located at 350 meters above sea level; once brought to the cellar, the grapes are vinified partly in steel and partly in Slavonian oak barrels.
