Langhe Chardonnay "Bussiador" 2022

Aldo Conterno's Langhe Chardonnay Bussiador is born in Monforte d'Alba, where the international grape variety perfectly adapts to the calcareous soils of the Langhe, yielding one of Piedmont's most iconic white wines.

Bussiador is Aldo Conterno's interpretation of Chardonnay, a wine that combines elegance and structure with the typical depth of the Langhe. The vineyards are located in the hills of Monforte d'Alba, on calcareous and compact soils, at an altitude of about 400 meters. Here, temperature excursions and perfect exposure allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving freshness and aromatic complexity.

In the cellar, fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine then ages for about ten months. This process gives Bussiador its unmistakable personality: broad, creamy, yet always balanced by the mineral finesse that distinguishes wines signed by Conterno. No excesses, just harmony and precision, in the style of the historic winery in Monforte d'Alba.
