De Bartoli's Etna Rosso DBE is a journey through the volcanic vineyards of Sicily, where earth and fire meet to create a unique wine that tells the ancient story of an extraordinary territory.
The vineyards from which Etna Rosso DBE is born are located in the heart of Etna, at an altitude of about 600-700 meters above sea level, where the cool and ventilated climate, combined with soils rich in lava and minerals, gives the grapes unmistakable freshness and character. Here, De Bartoli, with his mastery and respect for tradition, primarily cultivates Nerello Mascalese, the symbolic grape of Etna, using organic and sustainable methods. The winemaking follows a careful process that respects the raw material: the grapes are harvested manually, ferment spontaneously thanks to natural yeasts, and maturation takes place in wooden barrels, where the wine acquires fascinating complexity. The result is an Etna Rosso that combines elegance, structure, and incredible longevity.
