Chiussuma's Erbaluce di Caluso "Pajarin" 2020 is produced in the hilly area of Carema from 100% Erbaluce grapes.
In the fascinating landscape of Carema, made of mountains and terraced vineyards, there are young people who are slowly and painstakingly trying to recreate the winemaking landscape of decades ago. The task is very difficult, because a small plot of land is divided among dozens of owners, and managing to carve out one's own contiguous piece of land is a very arduous undertaking. This is the case of Matteo, Rudy, and Alessandra, from the Chiussuma winery, who have been producing Carema since 2016, to which this Erbaluce di Caluso has been added, which exudes fruit and minerality, while on the palate, acidity reigns supreme.
