Paolo Giordano's Dolcetto d'Alba is produced in Perno, a hamlet of the municipality of Monforte d'Alba!
The Dolcetto vineyard extends into the lower part of the Nebbiolo vineyard, in that single 5-hectare plot. "Well, basically I stole the grapes my father-in-law used to make wine for himself," Paolo begins when he starts talking about the first vintage of his Dolcetto. Production limited to 840 bottles of a fresh and vinous Dolcetto.
