The Winery: Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis

The Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis winery was one of the most innovative and revolutionary wineries of the 1900s. Chiara, always a proponent of sustainable agriculture and the first woman of organic Barolo, vinifies grapes in Barolo, largely sourced from vineyards near the winery and others from the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. Each of Chiara's wines reflects her energetic and strong character, where innovation and tradition meet with the aim of elevating the name of Nebbiolo and the entire Barolo appellation. The vineyards and wines are organically certified and undoubtedly reflect their terroir of origin.
