Cisterna d'Asti 2021

Casa Tallone's Cisterna d'Asti 2021 is made from Croatina grapes in the municipality of Cisterna.

Cisterna d'Asti is a relatively recent DOC, established only in 2002. The guys at Casa Tallone decided to invest in the territory they have always called home, bringing back to life that piece of land that in the past gave birth to Grandma Teresina's Bonarda. Today, the Croatina vineyard measures about 3 Piedmontese giornate, little more than a hectare, and Casa Tallone produces just under a thousand bottles of this appellation, which is quite an exciting discovery. A convivial wine, which relies on its excellent drinkability even when young, but which will surely surprise over time.
