Montesecondo's Chianti Classico is produced in the San Casciano in Val di Pesa area, in Tuscany.
Silvio Messana's wines are compulsively drinkable, there's little doubt about that. His version of Chianti Classico is inspired by the past but looks to the future: the Sangiovese expresses itself with crispness and delicacy, the fruit remains vibrant and fresh, also thanks to spontaneous fermentations that often take place outdoors.
