The Winery: Marc Morey
The Marc Morey winery owns and cultivates vineyards in some of the best plots of Chassagne-Montrachet, including prestigious Premier Crus such as "En Virondot" and "Les Caillerets". The wines produced by the winery are renowned for their purity, complexity, and aging potential. The winemaking process is focused on the maximum expression of the terroir, with fermentation in oak barrels adding complexity and structure to the wines, without ever overpowering the natural characteristics of the grape. Marc Morey is particularly known for its Chardonnays, which stand out for their elegance, freshness, and vibrant acidity, accompanied by notes of ripe fruit, white flowers, and a subtle hint of hazelnut. In addition to white wines, the winery also produces Pinot Noir reds, which, although in smaller quantities, reflect the same attention to detail and respect for the terroir.
