Michel Gahier's Chardonnay Les Follasses is a small work of art born in the heart of the Jura, a French wine region where the vineyards seem to be caressed by time and pampered by nature.

Here, around the village of Montigny-lès-Arsures, the hills and limestone soils cradle neat rows of Chardonnay, cultivated with an almost reverential respect for the environment. Michel Gahier, who is not only a winemaker but a true custodian of the terroir, cultivates these grapes using natural methods, letting the land tell its story through each cluster. When it comes to winemaking, Gahier is a master at letting things happen calmly and without force. After meticulous harvesting, winemaking proceeds with spontaneous fermentations, thanks to the natural yeasts that inhabit the cellar. And here the magic happens: Les Follasses is aged in old oak barrels, without invasive interventions, allowing the wine to evolve with the same relaxed elegance as a summer day in the Jura. The result? A Chardonnay that boasts aromas of ripe fruit, citrus, and a delightful minerality, with a structure that caresses the palate and a freshness that immediately makes you crave another sip.
