Casanova di Neri's Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto is produced in Montalcino with Sangiovese grapes.
The Cerretalto reserve is a label that fully expresses Casanova di Neri's philosophy: based on the premise that it is only produced in what are considered great vintages, Brunello Cerretalto is born primarily from a rigorous selection of grapes. first manually, then using an optical sorter, so that only perfect bunches are brought to the vat. This is followed by spontaneous fermentation in truncated conical oak vats with frequent punch-downs, and a total maceration on the skins that reaches about 30/35 days. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels for 36 months, and an additional 24 months in bottle before being released onto the market.
