Bramaterra 2019 by Antoniotti is a red wine produced in Alto Piemonte with Nebbiolo and other local red grape varieties.

Nebbiolo and indigenous vines such as Croatina, Vespolina, and Uva Rara give life to a rich and profound Bramaterra, with an innate elegance, a monument in the Alto Piemonte wine scene. The winemaking is artisanal: the grapes are harvested and brought to the cellar; destemming and crushing are followed by spontaneous fermentation in underground vitrified concrete tanks. Aging then continues in oak barrels for 30 months.

    The Winery: Antoniotti

A symbolic winery in the Northern Piedmont wine scene, Odilio Antoniotti's winery is now successfully run by his son Mattia. We are located in Sostegno, a small village a few kilometers from Gattinara, in one of the most evocative landscapes of the area. The winery has remained small over time, with a production of around twenty thousand bottles thanks to the cultivation of 5 hectares of vineyards. In the cellar, winemaking is artisanal, with fermentations proceeding with indigenous yeasts only and aging exclusively in large barrels. The wines are neither filtered nor clarified.
