Bourgogne Rouge "Les Riaux" 2022

The Bourgogne Rouge "Les Riaux" 2022 is produced in the Cote de Beaune with whole cluster Pinot Noir grapes.

The grapes are harvested from vines approximately 50 years old, and once brought to the cellar, they ferment as whole clusters with the usual indigenous yeasts. After aging in steel, the wine is bottled and made available for sale.

The Winery: Renaud Boyer

Renaud Boyer is a wine producer based in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune, one of Burgundy's key territories. He works approximately 3 hectares of the family property, in the vineyards that his uncle Thierry Guyot cultivated biodynamically since 1986. Renaud defines himself as a devotee of natural viticulture and winemaking, without the use of sulphites. The main plots are located in Saint-Romain and Puligny-Montrachet, and all harvests are carried out exclusively by hand. In the cellar, grapes are handled with the utmost respect, almost always whole cluster fermented and without added sulfur dioxide.
