The 2019 Barolo Villero from the Giacomo Fenocchio winery is produced in Monforte d'Alba from grapes harvested in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto.

The Barolo Villero, made from grapes harvested in the vineyard of the same name in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, stands out for its structure and vigor. The Helvetian-origin soils with clay and limestone sediments, rich in iron, make Claudio Fenocchio's Barolo Villero a particularly austere, full-bodied wine, and consequently perfect for a long rest in the cellar.

Denomination: Barolo DOCG
Grape Varieties: Nebbiolo 100%
Alcohol Content: 14.5%
Vineyards: MGA Villero, 65-year-old vineyards planted at about 300 meters above sea level with a South-West exposure
Vinification: fermentation in steel and maceration on the skins for about 40 days. 30 months of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels
Serving Temperature: 16-18°C
The Winery: Giacomo Fenocchio

The Fenocchio family has been present for generations in Monforte d'Alba in the famous Bussia sub-zone; one could even say that, along with a few others, the Fenocchios are Bussia. Giacomo began bottling in the 1960s. He was succeeded by his son Claudio, the current owner, a serious, simple, and affable man, capable of giving a great impetus
to the quality of the wines, achieving international success with productions in the best tradition. The work in the vineyard is sustainable, and in the cellar, Nebbiolo rests in large barrels after prolonged maceration.
