The Barolo "Rocche di Castiglione" 2017 from the Vietti winery is produced with grapes harvested in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto.
Rocche di Castiglione is one of the most important MGAs in the entire Barolo DOCG area. The Vietti family owns plots planted in different years, ranging from 1940 to 1968. The strength of this wine is its imposing character, which in the mouth is counterbalanced by a pleasant savoriness and acidity. Integrated tannins are accompanied by an explosive finish of very long persistence.
