The 2021 Barolo Perno Vigna Santo Stefano by Borgogno e Carbone is born in the Perno cru, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, one of Barolo's most representative areas.
The wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the Perno cru, characterized by soils and pedoclimatic conditions that contribute to defining a solid structure and a clear territorial identity. The vineyards are located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba and represent one of the most recognizable expressions of the Barolo area.
Vinification involves fermentation in steel tanks and aging in wood of different types and durations depending on the vintage and the producer's style, followed by a period of rest in the bottle that allows the wine to achieve balance and definition without invasive interventions.
