Chiara Boschis' Barolo Mosconi 2019 is produced in Barolo from grapes grown in the Mosconi vineyard, located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba.
We are talking about the most austere Barolo produced by the Pira E & Figli Chiara Boschis winery: the Mosconi vineyard reflects the typical Helvetian origin of the soil in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, which brings structure, power, and particularly dense tannins. This is a Barolo that is not afraid to face years of rest in the cellar, where over time the tannins will soften to give us a wine that always retains its structure and character.

The Winery: Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis
The Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis winery was one of the most innovative and revolutionary wineries of the 1900s. Chiara, always an advocate for sustainable agriculture and the first woman in organic Barolo, vinifies grapes in Barolo, largely from vineyards near the winery and others from the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. Each of Chiara's wines reflects her energetic and strong character, where innovation and tradition meet with the aim of elevating the name of Nebbiolo and the entire Barolo appellation. The vineyards and wines are certified organic and undoubtedly reflect their terroir of origin.
