The Monvigliero hill is recognized as the most important MGA in the municipality of Verduno.
Fratelli Alessandria's Barolo Monvigliero is one of the most representative of this MGA, elected as the authentic Grand Cru of the municipality. Critics in recent years have clearly been rewarding the elegance expressed by this terroir, which stands out for its elegance and olfactory finesse. Fratelli Alessandria's Barolo follows the characteristics of the vintage, with crisp fruit and balsamic notes. The tannins, present but well integrated, are those of great Barolos suitable for long aging.
