Trediberri's Barolo "del Comune di La Morra" is a wine produced in La Morra and vinified in concrete and large casks.

This is the first vintage in which Nicola Oberto produces a single Barolo, the result of blending the two historic classic Barolo vineyards, Berri and Capalot, together with grapes from the more famous and important Rocche dell'Annunziata vineyard. A smooth Barolo, as Nicola of Trediberri has accustomed us to, but one that expresses evolutionary potential and complexity.

    Denomination: Barolo DOCG
    Grape varieties: Nebbiolo 100%
    Alcohol content: 14.5%
Vineyards: MGA Berri, Capalot, and Rocche dell'Annunziata, all in the municipality of La Morra. The soil is of Messinian formation, which is the youngest, geologically speaking, in the Barolo area. The soil is loose and largely composed of silt, gravel, and gypsum. The percentages of clay and sand are lower.
Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in concrete for 13 days and an additional 7 days of maceration on the skins. Malolactic fermentation in wood. Ages 23 months in 3 52hl Slavonian oak barrels, 1 25hl garbellotto, and 1 25hl French oak barrel.
    Serving temperature: 16-18°C

    The winery: Trediberri

Trediberri is a winery founded in La Morra by Nicola Oberto, who, aided by his father Federico and friend Vladimiro, purchased 5 hectares of vineyard in MGA Berri in 2007, from which the winery's name, "the three from Berri," originates. From the very first vintage, 2011, Nicola's wines gained recognition in the market for their cleanliness and more immediate style, focusing on fruit and the great drinkability of his wines, moving away from the somewhat outdated idea of Barolo with a great structure but little smoothness on the palate. Today, approximately 8 hectares of vineyard are cultivated in La Morra, in the Rocche dell'Annunziata, Berri, Capalot, and Torriglione mentions, from which Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, and a Langhe Sauvignon are produced.
