Giovanni Rosso's Barolo "Cerretta" is the result of selecting grapes from one of the most highly-regarded vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba.
The Cerretta vineyard has been owned by the Rosso family since 1920 and is located in a natural amphitheater whose microclimate is influenced by the forest in the lower part. Barolo Cerretta is the most feminine among the Barolos produced by the Rosso family, with floral notes of withered rose and violet, while on the palate, the true soul of the territory emerges: a full-bodied wine with very prominent tannins.
