Barolo Bussia 2020 from Giacomo Fenocchio winery is produced in Monforte d'Alba.
The grapes are harvested from small plots spread over a total of 5 hectares in the MGA Bussia, the largest in the municipality of Monforte. The Helvetian soils with clay and limestone sediments and rich in iron, combined with traditional winemaking, make Claudio Fenocchio's Barolo Bussia a wine particularly suitable for aging.

The Winery: Giacomo Fenocchio
The Fenocchio family has been present for generations in Monforte d’Alba in the renowned sub-area of Bussia; one could even say that, along with a few others, the Fenocchios are Bussia. Giacomo began bottling in the 1960s. His son Claudio, the current owner, who is serious, simple, and affable, took over from him, giving a great impetus to the quality of the wines, achieving international success with productions in the best tradition. Work in the vineyard follows sustainable practices, and in the cellar, Nebbiolo ages in large barrels after prolonged maceration.
