The 2017 Barolo "Brunate" from Vietti winery is produced with grapes harvested in the municipality of La Morra.
Brunate is historically one of the nerve centers of Barolo DOCG production. It is one of the vineyards that over the years has distinguished itself as a high-quality production area. The Vietti family cultivates 55-year-old vines at 350-400 meters above sea level, planted on clay-limestone soil. Brunate is a concentrate of power and austerity, with sweet notes of plum, tobacco, spices, and leather. On the palate, the tannins are rounded.
