Elvio Cogno's Barolo Ravera Bricco Pernice comes from the cru of the same name in the municipality of Novello.
Barolo Bricco Pernice is the latest product from the winery. Strongly desired in the past by Elvio, it was his son-in-law Valter who first put it on the label. The vineyard is located one hundred meters from the winery, and the Bricco Ravera slopes down towards the road connecting Monforte d'Alba to Barolo. The name comes from the fact that partridges lay their eggs every year in the small wood at the top of the "bricco" (hillock). This Barolo combines power, elegance, and softness.
