Cavallotto's 2019 Barolo Bricco Boschis is a red wine produced in Castiglione Falletto in the MGA Bricco Boschis.
This is the Cavallotto family's entry-level Barolo, although given the importance of this vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, calling it "entry-level" seems rather reductive. It's a Cavallotto-style interpretation that delivers a Barolo capable of being both powerful and elegant, with great aging potential.

THE WINERY: CAVALLOTTO
A historic winery in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, founded in 1928, and always striving for the maximum expression of this terroir: a hill of which they are practically the sole owners, the MGA Bricco Boschis. The first label signed Cavallotto dates back to 1948, while the first year in which Bricco Boschis was featured on the front was 1967. Over the years, a vineyard in the Vignolo cru was purchased, and today Alfio, Giuseppe, and Laura produce two Barolo Riserva and a Barolo Classico. Other native varieties are also cultivated, such as Dolcetto and Barbera, as well as Pinot Nero from which the white wine Pinner is made. The history of the Cavallotto family continues, with an eye to the future and roots firmly planted in the past.
