Giacomo Conterno's Barbera d'Alba Francia is born in the eponymous vineyard in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. The vinification takes place in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba.
Barbera Francia is the emblem of Barbera, capable from a young age of astounding with its complexity and acidity, thanks to which it can be stored in the cellar and drunk after several years. The vineyard is in MGA Francia, in the municipality of Serralunga; the grapes are vinified in steel, and the wine is subsequently aged in large oak barrels for about 20 months.
