The winery: Cavallotto
A historic winery in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, established in 1928, always seeking the maximum expression of this terroir: a hill of which they are practically the sole owners, the MGA Bricco Boschis. The first label signed Cavallotto dates back to 1948, while the first year in which Bricco Boschis was featured on the label was 1967. Over the years, a vineyard in the Vignolo cru was acquired, and today Alfio, Giuseppe, and Laura produce two Barolo Riserva and a Barolo Classico. Other indigenous varieties are also cultivated, such as Dolcetto and Barbera, as well as Pinot Nero from which the white wine Pinner is made. The history of the Cavallotto family continues, with an eye on the future and roots firmly planted in the past.
