The Winery: Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis

The Pira & Figli Chiara Boschis winery was one of the most innovative and revolutionary wineries of the 1900s. Chiara, always an advocate for sustainable agriculture and the first woman of organic Barolo, vinifies grapes in Barolo, largely sourced from vineyards near the winery and others from the municipalities of Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga d'Alba. In every wine by Chiara, her energetic and strong personality shines through, where innovation and tradition meet with the aim of elevating the name of Nebbiolo and the entire Barolo appellation. The vineyards and wines are certified organic, undoubtedly reflecting their terroir of origin.
