Elio Sandri's Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a wine born from a small vineyard in Perno, Monforte d'Alba.

Elio Sandri makes wine in his Cascina Disa, a balcony overlooking the vineyards of Perno, which face the end of the ridge that gently descends from Serralunga d'Alba towards Alba. Elio's approach to viticulture and winemaking techniques is anything but interventionist: no synthetic products are used in the vineyard, and the focus is on product quality. Each vintage is different and must be interpreted in its own way. This Barbera comes from a small, cool vineyard just above the winery and combines the crystalline purity of its dark fruits with an incredible freshness and body.
