Piero Benevelli's Barbera d'Alba Bricco del Pilone 2020 is produced with grapes harvested in Monforte d'Alba in the Ravera area.

The Piero Benevelli winery is located in Monforte d'Alba, on the road leading to Roddino and Serralunga d'Alba. Massimo and Denise, husband and wife, are warm-hearted people very attached to their land and all the historical traditions associated with it. The wines are traditional in style with an eye towards natural vinification, without the use of selected yeasts and without filtration. In the cellar, only the necessary actions are taken to protect the quality of the wine, which has been gaining increasing recognition in recent years. Massimo's wines are sincere wines, which enhance their terroir of origin.

La Barbera d'Alba Bricco del Pilone is produced from grapes harvested in the family's oldest vineyard: Ravera di Monforte. In this case, fermentation proceeds in steel, with a short submerged cap maceration for about ten days to extract tannin and color. After racking, the wine is placed in large barrels for 10 months. The result is a Barbera that combines structure, fruit, and juiciness.
